4.10.1 Mass Edit:

Mass Edit allows you to edit multiple contacts with same information at once. To mass edit the contacts:

  • Go to Home > Contacts.
  • Select the contacts which have to be updated with the same information.
  • Tap the Mass Edit button
  • A pop-up edit Window will show up.
  • Select the fields to be updated and provide the new information.
  • After making the changes, press the Save button.

Following table will show you the information fields that you will come across in the edit form.

 

Field Description
Contact information  
Salutation Select the salutation or title for the contact.
First name Give the first name of the contact.
Last name* Give the last name of the contact. This field is mandatory.
Office Phone Give the office phone number of the contact.
Mobile phone Give the mobile number of the contact.
Home phone Give the home phone number of the contact.
Other Phone Give the other phone number (if any).
Fax Give the fax number of the contact.
Birth date Mention the birth date of the contact.
Assistant phone Mention the phone number of contact’s assistant.
Email opt out Check the box if the contact does not want to receive mails.
Reference Check the box if the contact is willing to be used as a reference for other customers.
Notify Owner Check the box if owner of the contact wants to get notified every time when there is change in contact’s data.
Account name Mention the account name to which this contact relates.
Lead source Mention the lead source of the contact.
Title Mention the job designation of the contact.
Department Mention the department of the contact.
Email Give the email id of the contact.
Assistant Mention the name of the assistant.
Yahoo id Mention the yahoo ID of the contact.
Do not call Check this option if the contact does not want to receive any call.
Assigned to Mention the user or group of users who will be responsible for the contact.
Parent type Specify the parent of the contact whether it is vendor, customer or lead.
Customer portal information Check this box if the customer is granted access to use customer portal. Mention the start and termination dates of the customer web portal.
Mailing Address Information  
Mailing Address     Mention the address of the contact.
Mailing PO  box
Mailing City
Mailing Postal Code
Mailing State
Mailing Country
Other Address  
Other Address   Mention if there is any other alternate address of the contact.
Other PO  Box

Description information Mention a little description or any other details about the contact.
Contact image Attach the image of the contact for easy identification.
