2.2 How to associate other records with leads?

In TDS CRM, other records can be associated with the leads by using Actions.

 

Actions:

 

Actions are options that allow you to associate the leads with other records. When the title

of the lead is clicked, actions are visible at extreme right of the edit page. Some actions such as Edit, Duplicate and delete are visible at the top of the page. These options make the lead management a lot easier and eliminate the need to use other software. The below mentioned

detail will show you what you can accomplish with these actions.

 

  • Send Mail: Using this action, you can directly send Email to the leads by following the given steps:

 

  •  Go to Sales > Leads.
  •  Select the lead to which you want to send email.
  •  Click the Send Mail button.
  •  Specify the email address.
  •  Enter the subject and message.
  •  Add attachment if needed.
  •  Click the Send button.

 

 

 

Convert Lead:

 

  • • This feature allows you to convert the given lead into potential. Follow the given steps to convert a lead in to potential.

 

 

 

  •  Go Sales > Leads.
  •  Click on the lead you want to convert to potential
  •  Click the Convert Lead button.
  •  Provide the following information:

 

•Account name

                •Potential name

                •Potential close date

                •Potential amount

                •Potential sales stage

 

  •   Tap the Save button.

 

 

 After the lead is converted into potential, you will not find it in the leads list on leads homepage. Instead you will find it in the list of potentials on potential home page.

 

  • •Add contact: This feature helps the company to maintain a database of all of its contacts with which the company has any sort of interaction or the company plans to interact.

  • •View contacts: This feature allows you to maintain repository of the contacts. It displays the newly created contacts and allows you to Edit or delete the contact. To view all the contacts, tap the Contacts control next to Sales on the toolbar.

  • •Add Location: This feature intends to ensure 100% accurate delivery process. It stores all the information about the location in three blocks. The first block is about Location Information such as location code, location name, contact for deliveries and which user or group is responsible for the particular location. The second block is about Address Information. It stores about four addresses, and the third block is about Custom Information which includes Telephone Number, Facsimile Number, Email, and Tax Province. You can also choose to enable Warehouse Management from here.

  • •View Location: This is the repository of newly created locations. Its custom view can also be customized to show the information most important to you. You can set the
  • filters to view the particular locations. Basic functions of Add, Edit and Delete are also accessible from here.
  • •View note: The last action links the Leads module to the online document centre of the Trade Dynamics System. From here you can manage all the documents relating to a particular lead.
  • •Tag cloud: Using this action, you can tag any lead record. This will provide convenience in quick search. Using tag, you can quickly access the desired information.
