1.8.3. How to Edit Events?

To edit the Event:

  • Go to the Home > Calendar.
  • Click Events tab. it will show all the events contained in the TDS CRM.
  • Click on the Event Details of the required event to open its detailed view.
  • Click the Edit button given on top-right of the window. It will open up the edit form.
  • Make the necessary changes.
  • Click Save to save the changes.

 

Field Description
Event type Select the event type whether it is a meeting or a call.
Event name Mention the title of the event.
Description Describe the event.
Location Mention the location of the event.
Status Select the status of the event from the drop-down list.
Assigned to Select the group or user to whom the event has to be assigned. In case of meeting, these are the users who are attending the meeting.
Priority Select the priority of the event from the drop-down list.
Mark public Check the option if you want the event accessible to every user.
Send notification Check the option if you want to be notified about the event
Event start time Select the start time of the event.
Event end time Select the end time of the event.
Custom information These are user defined fields. Add the information accordingly.
Invite tab Select the users from the list of available users to whom you want to send the event invitation.
Reminder Select yes if you want to set reminder for the event.
Repeat Select this option if you want to set the reminder at repeat. Specify the time and interval at which it should repeat itself.
Related to Select the module and contact name to which the event is related.
