1.3 How to Create Customized View

This custom view feature allows you to customize the view by following the given steps:

  • Tap the link “New” given at the top-right of the homepage of online document centre to open the New Custom View page.
  • Here, you will see the information fields divided in three sections i.e. Details, Choose Columns and Filters.
  • Details:
  • Go to Details > View Name to give any customized title to the view.
  • Right next to the View Name field, you will notice three options. These options include Set as Default, List in Metrics and Set as Public. You can choose any of the three options whichever best suit to your needs.
  • Set as Default: It will display the view with default settings.
  • Set as public: It will allow all the users to access the view.
  • List in Metrics: It will display the view numerically.
  • Choose Columns:
  • In the second section, you can customize the columns you want to have in the custom view. You can increase or decrease the number of columns by tapping the buttons of More or Less respectively. Each column has drop-down menu from which you can select the preferred information field.
  • Filters:

The third section allows you to filter the information displayed. It allows you to get to the required information as quickly as possible. There are two types of filters available i.e. Standard and Advance.

  • Standard Filters:

In standard filters you can apply the simple time filter. Select the Column, Duration, Start Time and End Time. This will rank up the information in the similar order.

  • Advanced Filters:

Advance filters allow you to further restrict the results by employing the search conditions. You can employ up to 5 conditions. Each row contains three drop down menus. You can select the field name from the first drop-down. Second drop down contains parameters such as equal to less than or greater than, etc. The third drop-down appears on the selection of first two drop-down menus. It is totally customizable. You can fill it according to the condition imposed.
